The Game Plan

THE GAME PLAN

The BIG plan is to collect 1000 stories in Australia.

PLEASE GIVE ME STORIES!

I am going to a very public spot and have a huge sign saying “A Dollar A Story”.
People are curious creatures, they will come my way and ask.
And to get the ball rolling, I will be giving away $1 for people to be talkative. A buck for a genuine story.

REAL PEOPLE IN REAL PLACES

Big cities. Tiny towns. Rural areas.

There’s more to a nation than just its biggest cities. Aussies live outside the concrete jungle too. I’d like the chance to visit more intimate settings such as smaller rural towns. I am in the middle of planning a visit to Sydney soon.

AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE! OI OI OI!

I like to capture the essence of Australia. A thousand stories will help reveal its true face. Stories have these amazing abilities to bring a deeper understanding of our heritage and culture. Lets emphasise and cultivate this appreciation.

2013 THE YEAR OF YES!
It will take time and skill to reach a 1000. At the moment, I have this amazing momentum and it demands that I go with the flow. It’s going to start in a matter of weeks, months, but it’s going to happen this year.

AND THEN WHAT…
After a 1000 stories have been gathered. It will be used to generate various artworks. I will be making artwork that will engage with everyone. And have their minds and hearts be open to possibilities.

How about it?
 – let me pay you a dollar to listen to you. Just as long it’s your story.
